Sneaking in with another tidbit for today, the Indochine site has updated and as many of you will be aware Brian is collaborating on one track, Pink Water 3, on their new album.
Check out their news page and the fourth video link [ "Molko story et expérimentations" ] has singer Nicola talking about the collaboration with Brian.
You will also find an extract from the album’s first single, Alice and June…which has been getting radio airplay since 27 September. Also of note to Placebo fans the maxi single due out on November 14th will come with what seems to be a 20 minute DVD about the making of the album, hopefully we’ll see some behind the scenes work with Brian!
DISCLAIMER …that said, I don’t speak french, but I think I have the gist of it…drop by the official website and see for yourself.
Some Lyrics to PINK WATER that I’ve transcribed … (more…)

Well it was a group effort but between myself, bruise_pristine & legionpossessed we’ve managed to update the site with TWO slash packed videos!!
♥ Drop by the Multimedia section and you’ll find a much better and FULL LENGTH version of Teenage Angst as performed with nuzzles and all @ Astoria, along with a second vid of some other adorable interaction.
♥ Perhaps also of interest Suckerlove has just obtained a copy of the unathorised Placebo Documentary, ANDROGYNY, and has promptly put a review on the site letting you know the low down, where to find any slash and how to get yourself a copy if you so desire…
More vids, DVD reviews, a truckload of screencaps and news to come!

Those of you on the official Placebo mailing list will have recieved an email letting you know that the Placeboworld online store has just become fandom heaven…well, to some.
Some of the many items available to purchase include a wide ringtone selection and soon other tid bits [vids, wallpapers] for those snazzy phones that some of you have. You can still purchase your usual merch such as clothing, beanies etc, and a new feature you can legitimately download those hard to find b-sides and rareities off the official site for a small price.
Some fans are happy with the changes, some want something a little more tangible such as a b-sides album… I suppose the appeal to casual Placebo fans might not be there to sell such an item, thus the digital move…
Either way take a wander through the site and see for yourself and feel free to leave your comments here on the news page!

Oh and for our British visitors,
‘Rock School’ is on Channel 4, UK, on Friday October 7th at 21:30 BST. It features Gene Simmons from KISS taking Rock School graduates to Placebo’s London Wembley Arena show last November to teach them a thing or two on how it is really done!.
Wish I had known to watch this when it was aired in Australia!!

The Placebo rumourmill is getting a good workout. There’s been buzz around from people involved with the film, House of Boys that Brian Molko has been approached to do a cameo, I’ve been told this can not be confirmed yet.
Also as the main character is from Luxembourg… perhaps there’ll be room for an inclusion of a reworked ‘Burger Queen’?

Placebo News[4] Comments
Thanks to Placebobitch for the heads up, the latest issue of Kerrang gives us some details about the latest unnamed album:
Placebo are putting the finishing touches to the forthcoming follow-up to their 2004 collection ‘Once more with feeling: singles 1996 – 2004′.
“We’ve just finished recording,” Brian Molko tells K!. “We did the album in eight weeks, which is really fast for us, especially as ‘Black Market Music’ took nine months! We weren’t supposed to be doing anything but maybe I’m a workaholic. I find myself really empty when I’m at home, not working. It feels like I don’t have a focus.”
The as-yet-untitled album is due for release next year.
Also while you’re at it don’t forget to stop by the Official Placebo site for the third behind the scenes video!!
♥ Be sure to read the rest of our news page to find out more info on the new Placebo album!

Yes folks, we’re moving up in the world!
It seemed that since I was always finding Placebo news, that I should put it to some use on this website… why not stop by pick up your daily dose of slash and keep informed about your favourite band at the same time!?
Members are getting a sneak peek at this News format while I still work out the kinks *giggles* …why would I want the kinks out of suckerlove?! …ANYWAY… so eventually you’ll see this news page will be incorporated into the site with a few other expansions! All for the better I hope!
Oh and there’s a nifty feature on here, you should be able to comment.
Just a reminder this won’t be used like our Live Journal community, rather it will be used to post [generally non-slashy] news about the band.
