On Sunday June 4th 2006 at 20:15 Placebo will be on stage at Rockpalast [Rock AM Ring]. This will be broadcasted by WDR German-Television and for those with a fast internet connection you will be able to watch their gig live and streaming online from anywhere around the world!
Visit the live streaming page at the specified time and watch Placebo or many of the other bands over the three day period. [line up]

Timo Maas, long time Placebo remixer, tells us he’s in the process of remixing Space Monkey supposedly to feature on the release of Placebo’s future single (following Infra-red)!! Apparently Space Monkey will be released after the ‘summer’, as always this is subject to change.
She Wants Revenge, tour support for Placebo in 2006 and fronted by one time Placebo collaborator Justin Warfield, have a new single out called Tear You Apart. The Placebo connection is that Hotel Persona have remixed the track and it is available in streaming format for you to listen to at the She Wants Revenge MySpace.

Isle of Wight Festival: Friday 9th June, late night, 12:30am – 1:15am, Channel 4 (UK) broadcast the Isle of Wight Festival 2006. The weekend’s coverage begins with performances from Placebo, The Prodigy, Goldfrapp and The Rakes.
4 Music Special (repeat): If you missed our lads earlier you’re being given a second chance to see the 4 Music Special recorded for Channel 4 in the UK, which is unmissable. It is being shown on June 19th at 00.50am on Channel 4.

Thank you to all visitors for your constant, wonderful feedback, patronage, help with scanning, drawing and various other contributions.
This update we have a brand new section to the site. Suckerlove now hosts large scans of Placebo’s Singles Collection. We’re still in the process of uploading some items, but keep checking back for updates (it will be listed under ‘other‘). Also if you are able to scan one of the items listed as “donate me”, send in an email and you’ll be credited on the site along with: liketheroadkill, rougevelvet, thalia1702, darkdaga, jagged_little_p, larylara, tehqueenisdead, lilyamelie, fender_jaguar, iswearimfemale!

The music video for Placebo’s next singe, Infra-red, has arrived. It was directed by Ed Holdsworth and shot in Holborn, London.

“I lied to you, we are the enemy.”
The video is an interesting piece of social and political commentary from the band. The theme being being the corrupt (American) government, and how their wrong-doing is exposed by a taskforce of millions of ants…seemingly representing the members of society banding together to expose the truth.
The single will be released on 19th June [in the UK].
The singles will feature remixes of ‘Infra-red’ by Hotel Persona, Nackt from Warren Suicide and Waltmann. The DVD single will feature the video, an exclusive making of the video documentary and a very special 8 minute version of the video for ‘Song to Say Goodbye’.
