A new treat for Placebo fans and MySpace users, Battle For The Sun has been made available via the GoMix application for some remix fun.
If you have a MySpace account, simply add the application from the link above, or access it via the Placebo Team Australia space. Select the “SONGS” tab and then Battle For the Sun. Before you know it you’ll have loaded up your own little mix desk with strings, guitars, bass, vocals, piano and drums!
Comment with the title of your mix(es) so that we can all listen, also they may feature on the Official MySpace!

On Wednesday May 13, Placebo will be playing a selection of tunes from their new album ‘Battle For The Sun’ in the Xfm studios for an invited audience of just 30 people. The whole show will be broadcast on the Steve Harris show that night, but if you live in the UK you and a mate could actually be there, just enter the XFM competition!
Additionally Placebo will perform songs live [this was apparently pre-recorded, xfm is live] from the new album on the Zane Lowe radio show, also to be broadcasted this Wednesday 13th on BBC 1 radio. The show starts at 7pm GMT.
