Lyrics to Bonus Tracks:
The Movie On Your Eyelids [bonus box set ld edition version]
I always watch you when you’re dreaming,
because I know it’s not of me
I smoke a dozen cancer sticks
And imagine there are two or three ways to make you love me
And I’ll dream of someone else,
become the movie on your eyelids,
The reflection of yourself
The reflection…of yourself
I cry when I listen to you breathing,
because I know there’s nothing else that conjurs up that crushing feeling
To know there’s no connection left,
that we’re both going through the motions,
that we’re both living somewhere else
And the movie on your eyelids,
there’s no reflection of myself
There’s no reflection…of myself
There’s no reflection…of myself
I wanna be, I wanna be your movie
I wanna be, I wanna be your movie
Why can’t you be me?
Why can’t you be me?
Why can’t you be me?
Why can’t you be me?
Be me
Be me
Be me
In A Funk [Japanese album version track available on iTunes]
Call me anticipation, call me out of line
But I’ve got a hotel reservation in the name of ‘Valentine’
In the place where we vacation and we walked across the beach
I felt your breath against my neck, as the waves caressed our feet
Heaven knows if you promise not to go
I will pay you back in kind
I dont want to be alone
Im alive, so alive.
Call me animation, call me assinine
But Im in a desperate situation
With a mask to hide behind
The affect on our relations and all that we believe
Feels like a slap across the face
Now there’s a hand print on your cheek
Heaven knows if you promise not to go
I will pay you back in kind
I dont want to be alone
Im alive, so alive
If you promise not to go
I will pay you back in kind
I dont want to be alone
Im alive, so alive
ahhhh, aaaaaah (backing vocal)
Let me pay you back in kind
ahhhh, aaaaaah
Let me pay you back in kind
ahhhh, aaaaaah
Let me pay you back in kind
ahhhh, aaaaaah
Let me pay you back
Is it my imagination?
Is it the end of the line?
is it a reconcilliation or just a way of killing time?
God only knows, if you promise not to go
I will pay you back in kind
I dont want to be alone
Im alive, so alive
If you promise not to go
I will pay you back in kind
I dont want to be alone
Im alive, so alive
ahhhh, aaaaaah (backing vocal)
Let me pay you back in kind
ahhhh, aaaaaah
Let me pay you back in kind
ahhhh, aaaaaah
Let me pay you back in kind
ahhhh, aaaaaah
Let me pay you back in kind
Unisex [bonus box set ld edition version]
Do me right, by you
and I’ll do you right, by heaven
along the avenues
we run run run run run run for our lives
promise me that we will make it through
promise me that we will make it through
inside we are picasso blue
outisde it’s armageddon
so all that we can do
is run run run run run run for our lives
promise me that we will make it through
promise me that we will make it through
if we don’t I dont know what I’d do
so promise me that we will make it through
don’t worry baby, it’s just the end of the world
don’t worry baby, don’t worry
Do me right, by you
no matter what may happen
forever more and hither hereunto
we run run run run run run run run run run run ruuun
don’t worry baby, it’s just the end of the world
don’t worry baby, this place is broken and absurd
don’t worry baby, it’s just the end of the world
don’t worry baby, don’t worry
Do me right, by you
and I’ll do you right, by heaven

Does anyone know if the bonus tracks will be available for download?
June 9th, 2009 at 6:23 am
In a Funk yes, but I believe the others are a reward for those who paid to get the box set.

I’d gladly pay for the box set if I had enough money.
Anyway, BFTS is awesome.

Me and my brothe paid £35 each for the boxset, and we got one of the signed ones! tis amazing, well worth the money. The extra tracks are really good, am a bit annoyed In A Funk isnt on there as we did pay £70 for it all, but oh well. Its still amazing. Love, love, love the new material. And young mr Forrest has won me over as well, they played really well at Sheperds Bush last month.

Yes! I got my boxset today and I LOVE IT. It’s just so… big. The best thing I own, by far.
“If your house was on fire and you would have time to save just one thing, what would it be?”
“My BFTS box!”
No Willy Wonka’s golden ticket for me, but I got a signed one
Going to see the guys playing here in Finland at Provinssirock this Friday. We’ll see how the new songs work when played live, but I already now it will be AMAZING.

I got the box set and it’s signed! I’m just so fucking happy. The album is truly amazing, I love it. It’s even better than I had hoped it would be. And all the bonus material is great, too. I especially love the Angkor Wat performance, it’s so awesome

£70 is a hell of a lot of money for two extra tracks ..hope they signed them all…and added their phone numbers x

I got the boxset! I paid 70 aus dollars for it and my parents paid the other 70 for it. No ticket.
But I LOVED all of it! The album is amazing, its so different but still so very Placebo! The horns are quite amazinng. The dvds were cool! I loved the way they played the songs at Ankor Wat, it was so sweet.

Loved the album all the tracks are pretty sweet bar the movie on your eyelids which was a little lame sounds a lil like this picture piano version if it had been dragged through dated dracula film with some below par lyrics sorry brian, should stick to writing songs the way you know how them adapt them into piano versions. but on a a plus unisex and in a funk both very sweet in a funk my fav track at the min, does any1 know anything about how to use the live cd-r the book says to look on their websites for info on how to use the cd but i cant find anything.

I received a signed version also, and it is DEFINITELY worth the cost, signed or not.
I believe the blank CD will be used at a later date. They will either record a whole gig somewhere or maybe one track here, one there and make them available to us over time?
